Next June, Elton John will perform a concert as part of the “Glastonbury Festival”, which is his “last” in the United Kingdom, before concluding his farewell tour, as announced by the organizers of this famous British musical event, according to the “AFP”.
And the festival’s official page tweeted: “We are very excited to announce that Elton John will perform at a concert on Sunday evening, June 25, as part of (Glastonbury Festival 2023), and his last concert in the United Kingdom will be part of his farewell tour.”
Emily Ives, the organizer of the festival that takes place annually in southwestern England and the daughter of its founder, said in a tweet on Twitter that it was the first time that Elton John (75 years) had participated in the festival. She added, “We will conclude the festival with an unforgettable farewell ceremony at this important moment in our history.”
After his participation in the British Festival, Elton John concludes a farewell tour in Europe in early July, entitled “Fairwell Yellow Brick Road”, with which he ends his artistic career.
