Failures at the SAAQ: watch out for scams!

Malicious individuals are trying to take advantage of the difficulties of the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) by defrauding its users.

While citizens have to wait several hours in line at the SAAQ, fraudsters try to take advantage of the situation.

Citizens have indeed received phishing messages, announcing that they were entitled to “a credit” because of service failures.

Before providing confidential information, it is advisable to make sure of the origin of the message, and to show vigilance.
