Frans: Thank you! It was truly a dream come true. I think the blend of our cultures was what made it so special. Indah is javanese, and I am Padang, so we wanted to incorporate both traditions into the celebration. it felt like a gorgeous reflection of who we are as individuals and as a couple.
Indah: Yes, absolutely. We wanted to honor both our families and our heritages. The presence of photos of Frans’ late mother, Vanessa Angel, and Aunt Ardiansyah, who sadly passed away, also added a profound sense of connection. It felt like they were with us on our special day.
Archyde: Frans, you mentioned feeling overwhelmed with emotion during the ceremony. What went through your mind in that moment?
frans: Honestly, it was just pure joy mixed with a little bit of disbelief. It’s still sinking in, you know? Saying “I do” to Indah, surrounded by loved ones, felt incredibly surreal. And yes, the emotions got the better of me! But in a beautiful way.

Frans: Yes,my father wanted to ensure that my commitment to Indah was absolute and unwavering. Reciting the vow in one breath symbolized my dedication to her, and I’m grateful for his guidance.
Archyde: The wedding feast showcased a delicious fusion of Padang cuisine with Javanese meatballs. Tell us more about your culinary choices and their meaning.
Indah: Exactly! We wanted to celebrate our cultures through the food as well. Padang cuisine is rich and flavorful, representing frans’ heritage, and adding Javanese meatballs was a nod to mine.It was a delicious blend that everyone enjoyed.
Archyde: Looking ahead, what are your dreams and aspirations as a married couple? Any plans for expanding your family?
Frans: Our biggest dream is to continue building a strong foundation of love, respect, and happiness together. Of course, starting a family is something we deeply desire. we continue to pray and trust in God’s timing.
Indah: We believe everything happens for a reason. We’ll leave it in God’s hands and enjoy this journey together.
