Still bothered by his knee, Gabe Vincent should miss two additional weeks of competition with the Lakers. Particularly complicated start to the season for the former Miami player.

You have to believe that a curse exists when you are a guard and you go from the Heat to the Lakers. In 2021, Kendrick Nunn came out of two solid years in South Beach before experiencing an ordeal in LA, weighed down by repeated injuries. We obviously wish Gabe Vincent a different destiny but the former Heat player is also having a difficult start to the season in the City of Angels. Already hampered by injuries during preparation, Vincent has only been able to play 4 matches since the restart (out of 12). Not really enough to make an impression with an average of 6 points and 3 assists in 28 minutes, all with atrocious shooting percentages.

Absent since the beginning of November due to a knee injury, Gabe Vincent still cannot return to the game. The Lakers announced that their player was making progress but that he needed at least two more weeks away from the court. Information relayed by the always well-informed Marc Stein.

The Lakers say Gabe Vincent (knee) will be out at least two more weeks.

If the Lakers manage to manage as best they can for the moment (6-6, eighth in the West), they would really need the experience and contribution (especially defensive) of Gabe Vincent on the backcourt . Signed this summer for 33 million over 3 years, Gabe Vincent was supposed to be a good deal to help the Lakers reach a new level. His body still needs to leave him alone a little.
