The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia sets some conditions and controls that pertain to carrying personal belongings during travel and coming to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, foremost among which is the payment of the costs of Hajj and Umrah in full before the arrival of expatriates from different parts of the world to it, in order to facilitate them and to avoid carrying extra amounts of money, which are also represented in:
- gold.
- Silver.
- Precious stones.
And others, the Kingdom has set conditions and controls that require that no visitor coming to the Kingdom carry sums of money amounting to about (60 thousand riyals), while any visitor must disclose the amount in case it exceeds this amount in order to avoid the penalty prescribed for non-disclosure.
While some designated centers have been allocated by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in order to deal with them when making a financial transfer and the desire to transfer the financial surplus and receive the transferred funds at the same time, and this is in addition to the services provided by the various banks in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
