Oil decline globally… and Brent is less than $87 per barrel

Live: Oil futures losses increased at Monday’s close, with an assessment of diplomatic efforts aimed at containing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

Brent crude futures for December delivery fell by 3.35%, equivalent to $3.03, at $87.45 per barrel, the lowest level at the end of trading since the October 12th session.

The price of US Nymex crude for December delivery also fell by 3.75%, or $3.23, to record $82.31 per barrel, which is the lowest settlement since the October 12th session.
