Ovanti subsidiary iSentric has signed two infrastructure memoranda of understanding with institutional privacy specialist EthSystems and sovereign blockchain provider TEIZA Sdn Bhd to explore confidential transactions and digital-money infrastructure, building on its more than two decades of Malaysian banking relationships.
Infrastructure MoUs Signed with EthSystems and TEIZA
The agreements target joint market development, technical integration, product resale, and ecosystem events. Through these MoUs, iSentric aims to pair its established transaction orchestration and mobile banking distribution footprint with specialized external technology stacks. EthSystems builds confidential infrastructure for institutional Ethereum, supporting confidential transfers, private bonds, and regulated settlements. TEIZA provides sovereign blockchain infrastructure based in Malaysia. These collaborations feed into Ovanti’s broader Digital Economy Operating System, known as DEOS-X, which develops programmable financial rails across foreign exchange, remittances, digital identity, tokenization, and central bank digital currency management.
Expanding Asian Banking Distribution Networks
iSentric brings extensive operational experience across Asia to these partnerships. Its existing business provides mobile banking, authentication, digital payments, and transaction processing to banks, telecommunications firms, and corporate customers. Within the group, iSentric and fellow operating business Datamorph handle transaction orchestration, funds-flow infrastructure, settlement, ledgering, reconciliation, and fraud-monitoring capabilities. These systems coordinate money movement, record balances, match records across separate platforms, and flag suspicious activity.
Global Payments IT Spending Rises as Integration Costs Grow
The push into advanced banking rails arrives as financial institutions face rising integration costs across fragmented payment networks. According to McKinsey’s September 2026 Global Payments Report, the global payments industry generated approximately US$2.6 trillion in revenue in 2025, with annual revenue projected to grow roughly 4% to US$3.2 trillion by 2030. Global payments IT spending is forecast to rise about 9% annually through 2030 as institutions adopt dynamic routing software to connect disparate systems. Regional demand remains strong. Bank Negara Malaysia reported that e-payment transactions climbed 25% to RM18.4 billion in 2025, while digital remittances through licensed providers surged 70.1% to RM31.6 billion. The central bank emphasizes resilient infrastructure, tokenization, and strong fraud safeguards as key regulatory priorities. Meanwhile, the Bank for International Settlements notes that tokenization can support shared records and simultaneous exchanges, provided strong governance accompanies the deployment.
Next Steps for Regional Integration
Ovanti intends to use the newly signed infrastructure agreements to explore confidential settlement paths with EthSystems and tokenization capabilities with TEIZA, using iSentric's long-standing bank distribution network across South East Asia, South Asia, and Central Asia.
