The Panadol family is like most families; It is diverse and we distinguish its varieties by their colors, there are red, green, blue, yellow, black, silver, orange and others.
In this article, we will learn how to use each of them.
1. Blue Panadol (Advance):
1_️ Contains only Paracetamol at a dose of 500mg.
2_ Pain reliever and fever reducer.
3_ ️ Safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women, patients with pressure and ulcers.
2. Red Panadol (Extra):
1_ ️ Contains Paracetamol 500mg + Caffeine 65mg (which enhances the effect of Paracetamol and activates the body).
2_ It is used to relieve pain, especially headache.
3_ ️ When using it, you should stay away from other sources of caffeine because the permissible daily dose of it is approximately 300 mg.
4_ ️ Do not take before bed because caffeine is a stimulant, it can cause insomnia.
5_ ️ Not safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women due to the presence of caffeine.
3. Silver Panadol (Actifast):
1_ ️ Contains Paracetamol + Sodium 173mg.
2_ ️ It is characterized by its rapid effect.
3_ ️ When using it, you must reduce the use of salt.
4_ ️ Not recommended for pressure patients.
4. Green Panadol (cold & flu):
1_ ️ Contains paracetamol + phenylephrine (anti-decongestant) + clopheniramine (anti-allergic).
2_ ️ It is used for colds.
3_ ️ Causes drowsiness due to the presence of clopheniramine, so it is taken before bedtime.
4_ ️ Not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women and patients with pressure.
5. Yellow Panadol (cold&flu_day):
1_ ️ Contains paracetamol + phenylephrine + vitamin C.
2_ ️ It is used for colds during work because it does not cause drowsiness.
6. Orange Panadol (cold&flu_all in one):
1_ ️ Contains paracetamol + phenylephrine + an expectorant.
2_ ️ Does not cause drowsiness.
7. Panadol joint:
1_ ️ The same composition as the blue panadol, as it contains only paracetamol, but with a stronger caliber of 665 mg.
8.. sinus pendulum:
1_ ️ Contains paracetamol + decongestant.
2_ ️ Not suitable for pregnant and lactating women and patients with pressure.
9.. Violet pendulum (night):
1_ ️ Paracetamol + anti-allergic.
2_ ️ Two pills are taken half an hour before bedtime to overcome cases of insomnia or lack of sleep due to pain.
10.. black panadol (migrane):
1_ Barcetamol 250mg + Asperben 250mg + Caffeine 65mg.
2_ ️ It is forbidden for ulcer patients, high pressure, kidney patients, pregnant and lactating women.
3_ ️ Treatment of migraine headaches (migraine).
