In good news, Palestinian-American model Bella Hadid shared with her fans her complete recovery from the autoimmune disorder “Lyme” following a long struggle.

In a post she posted on her personal page on Instagram, Hadid said: “I am the little girl who suffered, proud that I did not give up.”

Hadid addressed her mother, who supported her during her illness, saying, “I thank my mother for keeping all my medical records, supporting me, and believing in me throughout this period.”

“If I had to go through all of this once more, to get to this exact moment, I would do it all over once more,” Hadid added.

And she added, “I want to say if you are struggling, things will get better, stay strong, believe in your path, and the clouds will begin to clear.”

Bella concluded her speech by thanking the medical staff who continued to care for her, and everyone who supported her and stood by her side in her ordeal, saying: “I love you very much.”

It should be noted that Lyme disease is caused by infection with the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi, which is transmitted by deer ticks (of the arachnid class) or deer while feeding on human blood transmitted by ticks. Lyme disease is more common in North America and Europe, especially in wild and grassy areas.

Typical symptoms include fever, headache, fatigue, and a characteristic rash called erythema migrans. If left untreated, the infection can spread to the joints, heart, and nervous system.
