The man wanted to drive his car to Oberstdorf in Bavaria and allegedly followed the instructions on the navigation device. This apparently led him to a cross-country ski trail in the direction of Petersbergalpe.
It was only following around four kilometers that the Iranian noticed the mistake, tried to turn around and got stuck with the car. The local fire department then responded. The car was recovered with the help of a tractor, police said.
