Because these materials contain a high percentage of water, when they are dissolved, they turn into gruel, and their taste changes.
The materials that turn into toxins after freezing are:
1 – Eggs – Expert Sergey Lapatin points out that egg whites expand when frozen and cause cracks in the shell, through which microbes and bacteria can enter. Therefore, if the eggs must be frozen, the yolks and whites must be mixed and placed in a special container completely closed. They can also be frozen separately.
2 – Soft cheese (non-hard cheese), when this type of cheese is frozen, its properties, taste and quality change and under the influence of low temperatures it cracks and becomes a breeding ground for bacteria.
The correct duration of freezing
And it is advisable to keep frozen products for different periods: fruits – 9-12 months; cooked dishes – 1-3 months; vegetables- 3-12 months; Pastries – 1-3 months.
Produce must be washed and dried before freezing, and placed in bags and containers; And they must be ripe, put with a pungent odor in two bags or special containers.
