SK Rapid won its test match on Wednesday once morest second division team SV Lafnitz 5-2.
In the sweltering heat of the training camp in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, new signing Nicolas Kühn took the lead (29′) on assist from returnee Guido Burgstaller, shortly followingwards Kühn scored to make it 2-0 through Marco Grüll (38′).
Rapid coach Ferdinand Feldhofer replaced all ten field players except for goalkeeper Gartler. After the break, Lafnitz was initially able to shorten the lead (49′) before Bernhard Zimmermann put the ball into the empty goal on Niklas Binder’s pass to make it 3-1 (74′).
Five minutes later, Lafnitz reduced the lead once more (79′), but Rapid made it 4-2 once more (88′) through Zimmermann following a dream pass from Knasmüllner. Dragoljub Savic provided the final point following a nice solo with a well-placed shot into the right corner of the cross to make it 5:2 (90th).
