Charlotte Flair is proud of her growth as a performer in WWE.
The SmackDown Women’s Champion addressed this topic during a recent interview on the podcast Cool To Be You, where she opened up regarding her past nerves in front of the camera and how she now relishes every opportunity she has in front of the WWE Universe. Interview highlights:
How much she loves being in front of the camera now:
I guess it’s just regarding making the most of every opportunity and when I’m on camera, taking advantage of it. I’ve been so up to so many. Now it feels like I’m here to buy my flowers, guys. I grow so much every year as a performer. I really enjoyed the level of calm and confidence and the ability to enjoy the audience while I was there.
Said the nerfs used to get the best of her:
Whereas before, you know, maybe sometimes my nerves got the better of me, or I just wasn’t in the moment. Now whenever I’m there I really enjoy the space in my career.
On her upcoming WrestleMania match with Rhea Ripley and her mindset:
I don’t think much has changed [depuis la première fois qu’ils se sont battus à WrestleMania], but yeah, that’s kind of where I’m at. I don’t need to beat you. You have to beat me.
