Dar Al-Fatwa issued the following statement:
“It has been proven to us in the Shariah way that the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan for the year 1443 AH is tomorrow, Saturday, which falls on April 2, 2022 AD, and that is in accordance with what the majority of Islamic jurists have said that if the sighting of the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan is confirmed in Qatar, this sighting is necessary for all countries, The sighting of the blessed month of Ramadan has been proven in several Arab and Islamic countries.
And as we congratulate Muslims on this holy month, we ask God Almighty to make it a month of goodness, righteousness and blessing, and to guide us to its fasting, standing and etiquette, and to work in obedience to it, and to bring back its blessed days to all Muslims and Lebanese people with security and tranquility, for He is the Almighty, All-Hearing, All-Responsible, and Happy New Year.
Hariri congratulated:
On this occasion, there were tweets and positions of officials and politicians congratulating the arrival of the holy month, as former Prime Minister Saad Hariri tweeted: “The month of Ramadan in which the Qur’an was revealed. Welcome to the month of goodness and blessing, the month of reflection, accountability, convergence and forgiveness. We ask God Almighty to be a way To cross our country to what our people deserve in terms of safety, stability and dignity, and to lift the hardships of life and distress and compensate for the long suffering of political denial and economic confusion. He hears and answers prayers every year.

He concluded by “greeting Muslims all over the world and all Lebanese by the holy month.”
