According to the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) on the 23rd, the repair cost of the transformer is around 20 million won, and the specific amount is not known. Currently, KEPCO is in contact with the insurance company.

Kim Sae-ron’s agency, Gold Medalist, once again apologized, saying, “The insurance company is currently arranging the exact amount.”

Previously, Sae-ron Kim had an accident near the Hakdong Intersection in Gangnam-gu, Seoul around 8 am on the 18th, when she collided with a road structure. Kim Sae-ron refused to take a breathalyzer test by the police who were dispatched to the scene and requested blood sampling. Blood draw results are usually available in two weeks.

In the aftermath of the accident, payment systems and traffic lights at nearby stores were also paralyzed. It is said that it took about 5 hours to restore the transformer. Kim Sae-ron’s side stated that it would take responsibility for all damage caused by the accident, including the transformer.
