He crashed a limited edition Ferrari Enzo against a tree (+ video)

The vehicle is valued between two and three million dollars.

A man crashed into a tree on Tuesday while driving a limited-edition Ferrari Enzo on a road in the town of Baarn (Utrecht, the Netherlands).

The video of the accident has been released by local media.

In the recording, made at the scene of the accident, the high-end vehicle – whose price ranges between 2.2 and 3.4 million dollars – is observed with serious damage to the bodywork.

Likewise, it is seen how several workers carry out the pertinent tasks to tow it.

The license plates on the car were green, signifying that it was undergoing testing. To date, only 400 Ferrari Enzo have been built worldwide, of which three have Dutch registration.

According to local media, the driver was a mechanic taking a test drive from a nearby dealership. In addition, they detail that he was injured as a result of the accident and was taken to a hospital by ambulance, although his current state of health is unknown.

“He accelerated a lot when he got to the Amsterdamsestraatweg, then lost control of the steering wheel and spun into the other lane into a tree,” explained a witness driving just behind the Ferrari Enzo. “He flew through the air and landed hard. It was a really hard blow,” he added.

Last month a Ferrari crashed into a shopping center in Andorra.

At the wheel was an 82-year-old man, who lost control of the vehicle after allegedly exceeding the speed limit. The driver and two other people suffered minor injuries.
