The lower Ourthe, the Vesdre, the Amblève, the Our, the Senne, the Viroin, the Basse and Haute Lesse, the Haute Meuse downstream and upstream as well as their tributaries are thus added to the rivers in the phase of pre-flood alert. They join the Sûre, the Basse, Moyenne and Haute Semois, the Chiers, the Vierre as well as their tributaries, already in pre-flood alert on Friday morning.
The SPW expects the levels to continue to rise, sometimes until mid-afternoon on Sunday, but the alert thresholds should not be crossed.
The rest of the Walloon territory is considered to be in the “normal” phase.
