Daisaku Ikeda, honorary president of the Soka Gakkai, passed away from old age on November 15th. The third generation of Ikeda, who passed through Tsunesaburo Makiguchi and Josei Toda, is said to have had a strong charisma. It was also Daisaku Ikeda who founded Komeito on November 17, 1964.
