Ecobank celebrates the first class of graduates from the Business Management Excellence (PEGE) program

(Agence Ecofin) – Since February 2022, Ecobank CI, in partnership with the GIZ agency and the Bordeaux School of Management (BEM) group, has contributed to the capacity building of 25 Ivorian business leaders. They received their end-of-training diplomas on June 24.

Ecobank CI has welcomed the first class of graduates from the Business Management Excellence program (PEGE), co-organized in collaboration with the German international development cooperation agency (GIZ) and the Bordeaux Ecole de Management group ( BEM) Abidjan. The closing ceremony of the program took place this Friday, June 24, 2022, at the Bank’s premises in Abidjan.

A total of 25 Ivorian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) took part in the program, scheduled for six months and which began in February 2022. They were thus able to benefit from MBA-level training modules delivered by experts from the Kedge Business School. and BEM, with the aim of providing business leaders with strategic tools and a “ technical and financial support aimed at eliminating obstacles related to investments, creating value and sustainable jobs ».

The closing ceremony of the program was an opportunity for its beneficiaries to obtain end-of-training certificates and to take stock of their achievements. ” The benefits drawn from this training are great, in terms of learning and building managerial skills.
