Israeli bombing targets sites of the Syrian regime forces and “Hezbollah”

The Syrian regime’s news agency, SANA, reported that air defenses intercepted, late Monday, Israeli missiles in the south Damascus Without reporting any injuries.

“SANA” quoted the military source as saying that Israel carried out air strikes from “the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points south of the city of Damascus.” The Syrian Agency indicated that the losses were limited to material.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that “violent explosions resounded in the southern part of Damascus countryside, as a result of Israeli air strikes.”

He added that the bombing targeted “military sites In the Kiswa area, where the Lebanese Hezbollah militia and air defense batteries belonging to the Syrian regime are deployed.

The observatory confirmed, “The sites were targeted by about 10 Israeli missiles, while the air defenses responded to at least 7 missiles, and a missile landed in the town of Aqraba, causing material damage, without information about casualties so far.”

And last month, Israeli surface-to-surface missile attacks killed at least three Syrian officers near Damascus, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which has a wide network of sources inside Syria.

The observatory added that the Israeli strikes targeted Iranian sites and weapons depots near Damascus.
