Barca midfielder Frenkie de Jong is ready to sacrifice in order to leave Barca in the next summer Mercato.
De Jong had agreed to defer 30% of his salary in November 2020, at the beginning of the Corona crisis, to help Barcelona overcome the problem of declining revenues.
And according to the British newspaper, “Daily Mail”, De Jong is ready to forgo his deferred salary, which is close to 6 million pounds, in order to complete his move to Manchester City.
And the British newspaper indicated that Barcelona may ask to exchange De Jong, the 25-year-old, for Raheem Sterling or Bernardo Silva.
She explained that Pep Guardiola, coach of Manchester City, wants to include a new midfielder, following it was confirmed that he would lose to Fernandinho next summer.
It is reported that several reports in the past days have also confirmed that Manchester United are interested in contracting Dutchman Frenkie de Jong.
