Xiaomi announces the Redmi Note 11 series

Xiaomi has announced the Redmi Note 11 series, continuing its popular line of budget phones that are selling in huge numbers in India and many other markets.

There are four phones in total. But it distinguishes itself in a few specific areas. Each has what Xiaomi describes as a modern, flat-edge body that looks like an iPhone. Most of the specifications are shared across at least two models.

And the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is the top model. The phone contains a Snapdragon 695 processor from Qualcomm, which supports 5G networks. It has a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a frequency of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1080 pixels. There is a 5000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging.

There is a 108MP main camera backed by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. And the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is the only phone in this group that doesn’t have a 2MP depth camera.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro is basically identical to the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, but uses the Mediatek Helio G96 processor that supports LTE connectivity only.

The Redmi Note 11 has a Snapdragon 680 processor and a smaller 6.43-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution.

The Redmi Note 11 includes a 50-megapixel main camera, 33W fast charging, and 6GB of RAM instead of 8GB of RAM in the Redmi Note 11 Pro.

And the Redmi Note 11S has the same display and 33W fast charging as the Redmi Note 11. But with the Helio G96 processor, 108MP main camera and 8GB RAM option as the Redmi Note 11 Pro.

All these phones come with 5,000 mAh batteries. There are fingerprint sensors, headphone ports, and up to 128GB of storage.

The price of the Redmi Note 11 Pro starts at $ 300 for the 6/64 GB model and goes up to $ 350 for the 8/128 GB option.

While the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G phone starts at $ 330 for the 6/64 GB version and goes up to $ 380 for the 8/128 GB version.

Pricing is critical for such a range of products which aims to be affordable and price competitive.

And the Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11S go on sale this month. While the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G will not be available until February.
